Opened call to sixth edition of Inspiraciencia

 

Has been opened the call for the sixth edition of Inspiraciencia, short story contest of scientific inspiration, organized by the Spanish Council for Scientific Research sponsored by the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology. As every year, is also organized a serie of talks about the relationship between science and literature which this year is dedicated to "Science in literary classics". Also, new to this edition, a new section out of competition, The Science of your classic, enables participants recommend reading a classic and share science that found in the work:

Brief summary :

Inspiraciencia are not just stories. He also wants to go beyond the contest strict sense and strengthen relations between science and literature with different parallel activities. For several years organizes a series of talks in different cities exploring their zones of confluence between science and literature. This year the cycle will be devoted to the "Science in the classics of literature".

As a novelty this year, a new section out of competition, The science of your classic, in which participants can share reading a literary classic and highlight science found in the play opens. It aims to be a recommended reading collectively built with contributions from everyone.
