Fecyt and Clarivate have organized the "First Cycle of online training of the Web of Science database" that will take place from June 3 to 7, 2019.

From May 23 it is possible to register in such training.

It is very important to register on the FECYT web page with an institutional email account, and to include all the personal data that is requested, since this will be how they appear in the certificate of attendance to the Web of Science training course, which will issue a few weeks after the celebration of it.

From April 23 you can already visit the CID Library the exhibition "Postbooks 2: History (s) of the Book", which consists of 2 sections:

- A chronological narration of the history of the book from its origins to the present. This narrative is divided, in turn, into two parts:


        1. The manuscript times: the ancient and medieval book

        2. The revolutions of the book: printing, technology and mass dissemination

The Unit for Scientific Information Resources for Research (URICI) on behalf of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), signed in January 2019 a new contract with the Royal Society of Chemistry, called "RSC Read & Publish", which gives access to the reading of all the journals of the RSC and that, in addition, allows the authors to publish in OA in the hybrid magazines of the publisher.
