Equality Commission
On February 11, 2021, the Equality Commission (CI) of the Research and Development Center (CID) was established, which was promoted by management and approved by the board. The CI's framework for action is the regulations and instructions of the CSIC. It is made up of various personnel from the CID and the equality working groups of the Institute of Advanced Chemistry of Catalonia (IQAC) and the Institute of Environmental Diagnostics and Water Studies (IDAEA). Each institute has its own equality working group. The creation arises from the particular management characteristics and is focused on good use of available resources with the main objective of promoting equal treatment in the workplace. Funciones:
- Velar para que en la entidad se cumpla el principio de igualdad de trato y oportunidades entre mujeres y hombres.
- Sensibilizar a la organización sobre la importancia de eliminar comportamientos sexistas.
- Elaborar un diagnóstico de igualdad e implantar una adaptación del Plan de Igualdad CSIC.
- Informar sobre las actividades y decisiones institucionales en relación a la igualdad de género.
- Garantizar herramientas para la prevención del acoso sexual o por razón de sexo.
- Potenciar la cooperación entre los grupos de trabajo en igualdad.
- Fortalecer la gestión de los recursos internos.
