In May 2021 Clarivate reported that the 2021 JCR would have a new indicator to measure the impact of citations received by recent articles in a journal. This was the Journal Citation Indicator (JCI) and would be calculated for all journals in the Web of Science Core Collection, including even those without a Journal Impact Factor (JIF).
The CSIC Libraries and Archives Network has subscribed to the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion ebooks collection, which can be accessed from the Proquest EbookCentral Platform, together with the "Academic Complete" collection.
Fundación Española para la Ciencia y la Tecnología (FECYT) makes available to the national repository community the collection and visualization of research datasets hosted in open access repositories, including DIGITAL.CSIC, the CSIC institutional repository. This new functionality can be used from the advanced search engine of RECOLECTA, the national aggregator of open access scientific repositories, through the link https://buscador.recolecta.fecyt.es/
Spanish science is developing multiple projects to alleviate the health emergency caused by COVID-19. Research centers and innovative companies throughout Spain have received public funding and private donations to carry out R&D&I projects on the SARS-CoV-2 virus and the disease it causes.
