In this first event, which was attended by Emilio Lora-Tamayo, President of the CSIC, and Lluís Calvo Calvo, Delegate of CSIC in Catalonia, on Friday April 17 presented the activities that will be developed throughout the year. There were several scientific sessions, the opening of "Post-books" ehhibition by the collective "4-Elements", a comic monologue-scientific and lunch for all the staff.
The Director of the Center for Research and Development (CID) of the CSIC, Joan Grimalt, began the day by presenting the activities of the 50th anniversary of the CID which will be scheduled during the year, which will include scientific sessions, workshops association Scientists Dating Forum, a photography contest and recreational and sports activities.
A scientific sessions in the morning and evening, the eight researchers built two central institutes (holders scientists Fulvio Amato, Sandra Perez, Jerôme Latron Victor Vilarrassa, Joaquim Jaumot of IDAEA Cyril and Jimeno and Jordi Solà of 'IQAC and Carlos Rodríguez Abreu, research scientist IQAC) last year, presented their work and future research posed.
At noon took place the official ceremony, with the participation of the Director of CID, Joan Grimalt, and the President of the CSIC, Emilio Lora-Tamayo, in which they stressed the historical trajectory of the CID, the birthplace of important research groups and new centers in Catalonia and the importance of their scientific activity in the scene, not only in Catalonia but in Spain and Europe.

Fernando Blanco presented the col • artistic group "4 Elements", which comprises Paco Martínez, author of the "Post-Books, Neollibres, not books: A trip reinterpretation." Then, together with Joan Grimalt, Emilio Lora-Tamayo, Lluís Calvo and former director of CID Francesc Camps, inaugurated the exhibition, which reflects on the role of the book as element of transmission of knowledge, culture and its evolution.
Lunch with the participation of many of the more than 500 people comprising staff of the CID, it was a good time for relationships, enlivened by singer Michel Clavero with J.L. Guart keyboards, singing and dancing that made the audience.
